1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the KanoonSeva platform ("Service"), operated by Namma Kanoon Legal and Consulting Services LLP ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KanoonSeva is an AI-powered legal technology platform designed for Indian legal professionals. The Service provides:

• Legal draft generation and document automation
• Case law and judgment search across Indian courts
• Bare acts and statutory provisions database
• Case tracking and management tools
• Due diligence assistance
• AI-powered legal research and analysis

3. User Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by legal professionals in India, including advocates enrolled with any State Bar Council and their authorised associates. By registering, you represent that you are a legal professional or are authorised to use the platform under the supervision of one.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including your Bar Council enrolment number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Subscription and Payments

Access to the full Service requires a paid subscription at ₹2,000 per month (the "KanoonSeva Professional" plan). Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, our authorised payment gateway. Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Reproduce, distribute, or resell any content from the platform without authorisation
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Misrepresent your identity or professional credentials

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, and logos, are the property of Namma Kanoon Legal and Consulting Services LLP and are protected by intellectual property laws. Legal documents generated using the platform are owned by the subscribing user.

8. Disclaimer

The Service provides AI-assisted legal tools and research aids. It does not constitute legal advice. Users are solely responsible for verifying all generated content, citations, and legal analysis before use in any court or legal proceeding. The Company shall not be liable for any errors in AI-generated output.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, access continues until the end of the current billing period.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
